In the summer before sophomore year, we went to North Carolina and stayed in a beach house. I loved the different culture of being in the South. But I mostly loved being on the beach just about every day. Even though I did get badly burned at one point. Below are the pictures of my trip. Or at least the abridged version
| The house we stayed in. |
| This is the amount of seashells I found on the trip. |
| I had to wake up at 5:30 to see the sunrise |
| The view from our house. |
Over the summer I spent a lot of time up at Garrod Farms. I was a trainee and a CAT there. I hung out a lot with the people there and have a lot of wonderful memories from this summer.
| One of our staff's last day, so we all took a trail ride. |
| Our crew went to Jake's to have fun and relax. |
| There are some pretty goofy people from there. |
| We decided to ride the ponies!! |
| Utah, my camp horse. He is my favorite. |
| We tried, and succeeded to fit all the tack from day camp into one truck. We also fit ourselves inside too! |
| This was the last day of horse camp/ last Friday of summer. |
This school year was especially hard for me because it was the first year that Alex was not going to school in the same district as I was. She was going to go to Gunn High School instead of Lynbrook because her mom worked in the Palo Alto school district and Gunn was a lot easier that Lynbrook. I missed her terribly, but somehow made it through. This was also the year I spent a lot of my time with Makenzie, Kayla and Rebecca.
I also began my obsession and collection of duct tape. I started off slow, with the main colors and a few patterns but now I have over 30 rolls.
Homecoming of sophomore year was themed Las Vegas. This was year we beat the Juniors in homecoming overall. They never quite forgave us for doing that.
This was the year I really started going to the football games. Rebecca, Makenzie and I practically went to every football game.

| Football shenanigans and Rebecca's batman mask. |
This was my Spanish project I made for Spanish 3. We had to choose a person to make a grave for to celebrate Day of the Dead. I chose to make a grave for my best friend Alex and made is as pretty as I could. I ended up giving it to her and she kept it and still has (most) of it to this day.
I finally got my braces off after having them on since before eighth grade! This was the last picture I took of myself before I got my braces off.
| The beginning of my Marvel obsession. I got five Marvel movies for Christmas this year. |
I was also hired at work! I had been a trainee for two years and now I was going to get paid. I was very excited. I still worked on Wednesdays and had the same workers. It was a lot of fun, but more responsibility and work than before.
We went to Yosemite. I don't know what else to say about this, because we did what everyone else does when they go to Yosemite. We hiked, rented bikes and took a bunch of pictures. Only my mom, dad and I went. All pictures are taken by me.

| Attack of the rock people! |
This was the time I was walking Alex's dog and he saw another dog, so he got really excited and started to pull on the leash; the only problem was there was a bit of mud covering the sidewalk, but I only thought it was maybe half a centimeter thick. It was more like three centimeters thick and completely coated my jeans when I slipped and fell.
My cat broke both of her hips. It was some genetic trait that she had, but she had to get surgery to fix it. She got the surgery and gained the muscle so she was able to still walk. But she still has no hip bones. These are the pictures I took before she had to get her fur shaved off before surgery.
For Anjali's and Jessie's birthday, they decided to combine and have a paintball birthday party. This is what I looked like after the paint war. It was a lot of fun and I completely fell in love with paintball.

| The amount of paint on my sleeve. |
| A welt from the paintballs. |
Makenzie and Kayla being awesome and taking selfies when they stole my iTouch.
The musical at Meyerholz was Dear Edwina Jr. This was the first year I ran the sound board with Amy Tuck and it was a lot of fun! This picture was taken after strike and the reason my hand is all taped up is because I cut it on a staple and tried to put a band-aid on it but it kept falling off, so I had to tape it too.
This was yet another time when we went to Big Sir. These are the pictures of the hiking trails we went on. It was the perfect time of year because all the clover was blooming.
My obsession with Maroon 5 begins to blossom.
THE CHAIR I BROKE. I literally sat in this chair and leaned a little on the backrest and this is what happens.
A close up of the screws/ broken wood that I hit while falling. It scraped up my back pretty nicely.
Caffe Adria, a continues Wednesday morning tradition.
Our weight-lifting crew. These were my best friends in my PE class.

| Harriet's birthday celebration at school |
This was the year when I fell in love with Sarah Kay and my favorite poem. I decided to memorize the poem, which I retain to this day.
CANADA. Kate was in Canada IL for her masters degree in Linguistics. We flew up to Seattle and spent a day or two then drove up to Canada for her graduation.
| I had a coffee expedition while up there, trying to find the best coffee I could. Seattle is home of coffee. So everywhere that sold coffee, I would have a cup. This I think was my favorite. |
| The ocean exists up in Canada too! |
| Only Canada would have a tree on top of a skyscraper. |
| Tulip fields in Washington. |
| Flight home. |
Blue Pearl. I went for the first year, and evidently took a picture of Sneha.
| We decided to use highlighter on Sneha's knees. |
| I made a flower crown! |
| Need I say more? |
| Svetlana and Rachel braided my hair after PE |
The first time they have ever spelled my name right at Starbucks!
| Friends take selfies, they give me blackmail material! |
| Sonia, me and Sneha derping in the pool. PC: Alex |
| Math friends at end of year. (Meera and Hana) |
On the last day of school, we left world lit and came into Ms. Ene's room and I ended up watching the ending of Spirit with Ms. Ene's daughter, Mina.
| I was so excited that she signed my yearbook. |
Graduation. We said goodbye to Brina.
